During the first of 4 editions of the Big Fish event, organised by Fishing adventure, a new milestone has been reached. Angler Stefan Wostemeijer managed to land a sturgeon of a whopping 2.52 metres - officially breaking a new lake record sturgeon of 2.52M at Fishing Adventure!

Big Fish is the event for avid anglers from home and abroad. During this first edition of 2025, Stefan proved that dreams can come true. After a fierce battle, the gigantic sturgeon was successfully landed, measured, recorded and neatly released.

With his catch, Stefan set a new lake record sturgeon of 2.52M at Fishing Adventure. The record is recognised within the official ranking of the event and sets a new challenge for future participants of Big Fish.
