Record Scale at Fishing Adventure
On 21-07-2019, Fishing Adventure controller Kobus Weiss went fishing at his familiar spot at Rutbekerveld.
The carp seemed totally inactive and only a sturgeon of about 1.50 metres was caught.
At the 22e Around 17.30 Kobus got a hard run on the rod baited with the Robin Red Garlic boilie from FA Baits.
After a tough drill, he was able to pilot a beautiful scale into the net, which on weighing turned out to weigh a whopping 44.4 pounds and that is a new record scale at Fishing Adventure.
At only 91 cm in length, it is clear that this fish can still make huge growth in both length and weight.
After being weighed and photographed, the fish was obviously put back so it is now happily swimming its laps again at Fishing Adventure.
