Record Scale at Fishing Adventure<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

On 21-07-2019, Fishing Adventure controller Kobus Weiss went fishing at his familiar spot at Rutbekerveld.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The carp<\/a> seemed totally inactive and only a sturgeon of about 1.50 metres was caught.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the 22e<\/sup>\u00a0Around 17.30 Kobus got a hard run on the rod baited with the Robin Red Garlic boilie from FA Baits<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a tough drill, he was able to pilot a beautiful scale into the net, which on weighing turned out to weigh a whopping 44.4 pounds and that is a new record scale at Fishing Adventure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At only 91 cm in length, it is clear that this fish can still make huge growth in both length and weight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After being weighed and photographed, the fish was obviously put back so it is now happily swimming its laps again at Fishing Adventure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
